AiMesh Supported
AiMesh is a new feature from ASUS that allows you to create a whole-home Wi-Fi system. This means connecting multiple ASUS routers to create a single, extensive network. It is best suited for larger homes or businesses that need to cover much ground with their Wi-Fi signal.

Cons
Poor Inter-Floor Performance
The ASUS Blue Cave's four antennas do a great job providing good coverage on a single floor. However, if you live in a two-story home, the router will have difficulty reaching the second floor. This can be remedied by placing the router in a central location on the first floor, but it's something to consider if you're looking for a router to cover a large home.
Mediocre Short-range Throughput
While the Blue Cave's long-range performance is impressive, its short-range throughput is only average. This means that if you have a lot of devices connected to your router (e.g., streaming video, gaming, etc.), you may experience some slowdown.
What is the ASUS Blue Cave Best For
The Asus Blue cave is best for people who have a lot of devices that need to be wirelessly connected to the internet as it uses the latest MU-MIMO technology. However, its short-range throughput is only ideal for medium-sized homes. But if you are looking for a router with reliable security features, this one is best for you!
What Buyers Have To Say About the ASUS Blue Cave
WC7P
GOOD ROUTER
So far so good! The main gain I'm getting is the smoothness in setup and controlling the router. ASUS has excellent control software. Not only did a firmware upgrade go easily but the system setup went well. Speed is not what I bought this for. Security is. I'm on satellite so the speed is limited by my modem and the bird. Lots of security settings that seem to work well.
Amazon Customer
Don't blame the router blame your old technology.
If you asked me to review this from the start I would have given it only 3 stars but what I realized is that old technology has to go. If you have 5GHZ wireless cards the difference is night and day. Don't judge this router until you make the change.
Rober Alexander
It's a rock star, especially at the current price
Excellent performance and stability. Also a great interface with lots and lots of options, but easy to figure out. Looks good, doesn't have a bunch of flashing lights, and the blue light in the "cave" part can be dimmed or turned off completely.
Conclusion
The ASUS Blue Cave Wi-Fi router is great for your home network. It offers excellent performance and comes with some great features, like using Amazon Alexa voice commands.
While it does have some drawbacks, this router will provide you with a top-notch wireless networking experience. So, if you’re in the market for a new router, be sure to consider the ASUS Blue Cave Wi-Fi Router.
