Main Features and Benefits
Optimal Wi-fi Distribution
With upgrades from the TP-Link Archer AC4000 making noise, the TP-Link AC3200 is integrated with a 1GHz dual-core processor and three co-processors that handle simultaneous connections without interruption. It boasts a tri-band router that offers a 2.4GHz band at 600Mbps and 1,300Mbps on two separate 5GHz bands, which plays a role in adequately distributing strong Wi-fi to several devices.
Smart Connect extends ease for each device by automatically assigning the band that works best for the network demand. For those who fiddle with several documents, files, and spreadsheets, a great feature like beamforming in this top-of-the-line wireless router will allow a smooth transfer from one storage to another.
Software and Support
Management features include access control, local management, and remote management, which makes for easy setting navigation with detailed instructions for extra support. Password modification is possible thanks to basic wireless settings that enable users to control the band for further security enhancement. This should help housemates who continuously come and go, making it ideal for university dorms, apartment complexes, and boarding houses.
For family homes with multiple users, including young children, access to additional security with HomeCare parental controls is another commendable feature. The TP-Link Archer AC3200 router software provides custom profiles, content filtering, app block, time limits, time schedules, and log insight.
Another highlight includes the Game Accelerator QoS which provides designated bandwidth to certain devices that suit your network needs. For game console users who spend the wee hours playing online, this is an advantage to look forward to, especially if you hate buffering and long loading periods during an intense game.
Quick device management is also another advantage to note, thanks to the Tether app. It can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. This is ideal for avid smartphone users who wish to modify or access Wi-fi settings without actually having to roll out of their beds.
Cons
No internet connection or network is deemed perfect, there are still certain features that need tweaking. For users who aren’t very particular with their network usage, small glitches and hardware flaws are manageable in the long run. A few points the TP-Link AC3200 can improve on include:
Range performance
The maximum capacity of the TP-Link AC3200 wireless router is a four-bedroom household, but the six antennas ease network congestion because they boost signal coverage. A quick tip to consider is placing the router away from physical obstructions to enhance signal coverage and strength.
Undetachable antennas
Although exteriors are good for aesthetic purposes, hardware functionality is still deemed more vital. The TP-Link AC3200 has six antennas that bode well in providing support to your streaming or gaming needs. One downside, however, is that the antennas are not detachable.
Access to the guest Wi-fi network fluctuates
When it comes to separating guest Wi-fi access, this feature appears to be quite dodgy. Visitors in an office or a home setting using this wireless router for just a short time tend to use up the main users’ allotted bandwidth.
What is the TP-Link Archer AC3200 Best For?
Upgrading to the TP-Link AC3200 ensures superb features like Smart Connect and Game Accelerator QoS that are conducive to versatile network usage. Thanks to its single 2.4 GHz network that branches out to two 5GHz 802.11 ac networks, this wireless router is ideal for users with avid gaming needs or those who enjoy using consoles.
This type of wireless router is an affordable option to consider for those living with multiple roommates who spend long hours online. Not only will it give each of you the autonomy to conduct different online activities, whether it’s downloading or uploading bulky files for work or spending hours on the new PS5, the TP-Link Archer AC3200 is also an investment you might want to opt-in on.
Watching movies in HD or casting shows on your smart TV is another hassle-free experience with this TP-Link router. Online shopping on multiple websites using different devices at once can be done with no lags. Transferring files, especially multiple pages of documents or spreadsheets is relatively fast and boasts good close-proximity 5GHz throughput. Indeed, the TP-Link AC3200 wireless router doesn’t fall short of quality and adaptability.

Works great, I have over 40 smart devices at my place and all of them work excellent. It covers my condo of 1300 odd sqft without any issues. Strong signal with 6 powerful antennas and triband gives me the flexibility to distribute my devices on different bands. Its just over two weeks and I am enjoying it. Recommend it to everyone.
The best router I've ever used. Full 4G connection with no falloff. All device connections are TP-Link with exception of a laptop (Intel). Had to work with drivers on a laptop to get a full 4G. It connected instantly but only downloaded at 600k (same as the max speed of the old 2011 router). Range? Not sure. I will have to get in my truck and drive to find out range. It gives a strong signal to every corner of my property and 3 story home.
Got these to replace a still working Apple router I had. Clearly can see the speed difference with the new technology in this router. The only complaint I have is how they handle the port forwarding with my ReoLink security camera system. With Apple router software it just flat out works without anything special. The TP-Link requires some playing with and manual setup since they can't detect all the ports needed to be open correctly for some reason. That being said I still give it a 5-star because I love all the other features it others.

Buying a router is quite a task and checking the right specs and feature upgrades is a rule of thumb any techy and non-techy should live by. Ideal prospects of a wireless router should be able to provide a high-speed and stable internet connection with good connection restoration. Also, consider a versatile operating system.
The TP-Link Archer AC3200 correctly supports music streaming, HD video streaming, and casting thanks to its ability to run three separate Wi-Fi channels at once.
